The main inspiration for this photoshoot comes from the 2009 film, A Single Man. A key element comes from the feeling of beautiful grief. The grief of loosing someone you loved, and the feeling of longing for something unattainable. Beautiful grief is trying to make it through the day,yet finding the simplest of tasks impossible. Dark subjects can viewed through a lens of beauty as they are common emotions that we should not shy away from. All emotions are part of the human experience.
